1. When is the race?
The Foxes on the Run 5K will take place on April 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Hartwood Acres. 🌳✨
2. How do I register for the race?
You can register online through our race website or on-site at packet pickup. Be sure to register early to get the best rates and guarantee your t-shirt! 🎽💻
3. Can I register on race day?
Yes! You can register on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the registration table. However, we recommend signing up early to avoid the race-day rush! ⏰🏃♂️
4. Where is the race located?
The race will be held at Hartwood Acres. Look for the race signs near the entrance to the park! 🏞️
5. What do I get with my registration?
All participants will receive a Foxes on the Run t-shirt and the top 3 finishers in each age division will receive a medal 🏅. Plus, your registration helps support Dorseyville Middle School! 🎉📚
6. What should I bring on race day?
Please bring your race bib, comfy running shoes 👟, a positive attitude 😊, and water 💧! Don’t forget your sunscreen 🌞. If it's chilly, a hoodie 🧥 might come in handy.
7. Will there be bathrooms available?
Yes! There will be Port-O-Johns located near registration for your convenience 🚻.
8. Is there a time limit for the 5K?
We don’t have an official time limit, but we ask that participants finish within 2 hours ⏱️ to ensure the course is clear for other activities.
9. Can I walk the race?
Absolutely! This race is for runners and walkers alike 🚶♀️🏃♂️. Whether you're jogging or strolling, we encourage you to come out and join the fun! 🎉
10. Can I bring my dog?
We love pups 🐾, but for safety reasons, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home. Service animals are, of course, welcome! 🐕💖
11. Where can I pick up my race packet?
Race packets can be picked up on April 24th at Dorseyville Middle School from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM 📦🎽.
12. What happens if it rains?
The race will go on rain or shine! 🌧️🌞 Dress appropriately for the weather, and let's make it a fun day no matter what! 💃🕺
13. Are there any prizes for winners?
Yes! We’ll have prizes for the top finishers in various age categories 🏆. And don’t forget, all Kids Dash participants will receive a medal too! 🎉🏅
14. How can I help?
We’d love your support! Consider volunteering 👟, sponsoring 🏅, or donating 💖 to help make the race a success. Every little bit counts!
15. Will there be food trucks?
Yes! There will be an ice cream truck 🍦 and a coffee truck ☕ available to fuel you after the race!
