Charity Partner
Since 1991, Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR) has served as Loudoun County’s primary emergency food pantry, providing food assistance to those in need in Loudoun. We serve our neighbors with nutritious food, education, and community partnerships. Marking 35 years of operation this year, LHR has grown into a robust organization featuring two full-choice, free grocery markets where neighbors can select their own nutritious food including fresh produce, dairy, proteins, and non-perishable items.
Operating as community service hubs, our markets in Leesburg and Sterling host and connect neighbors with other local nonprofits offering additional community services beyond food. In fiscal year 2026 alone, LHR distributed 3 million pounds of food and supported approximately 14,500 neighbors across our physical locations, mobile markets, and other initiatives. Driven by a dedicated network of volunteers, staff, and supporters, our guiding mission remains steadfast: no one in Loudoun should go hungry.
