I FEEL THE NEED...THE NEED FOR SPEED!!
Come and run the Spartan 5K with a super fast 1-mile downhill finish! Beautiful handmade pottery awards by. r.wood studio.
Please join us for a Top Gun themed 5K to support Athens Academy! This year's 80's theme is Top Run (Gun)! So bring your aviators and bomber jackets! Participants are encouraged to dress in Top Gun attire, although not required. If you would like to be considered for the costume contest and prizes, please check in at the T-shirt table by 9:30 am. All of those who want to considered for the costume contest, both the 5K and Sprint must be checked in by 9:30 am.

7:15AM Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup in the Tilman Center
8:30AM Race Day Registration ends. Packet Pickup still available.
8:45AM Last bus leaves for the starting line
9:00AM 5K Start
10:00AM Fun Run Start
10:15AM Awards Ceremony

What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
