The 6th annual Milledge Mile is a one-mile race down Milledge Ave. in beautiful Athens, GA. Come see how fast you can run a mile.
Friday, July 28 from 4-6 pm at Athens Running Company, 210 South Milledge Ave.
6:00AM Packet Pickup at Clarke Central High School (plenty of parking available). Packet pickup will close promptly at 6:30AM
NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS AND NO BIB TRANSFER.
8:30AM Post run celebration and Awards at Athens Running Company
Runners are pre-assigned to waves based on the estimated time submitted at registration. Except for Wave 5, the fastest wave, every attempt is made to have an equal number of runners in each wave. Wave times are as follows:

Adjustments to these waves may be made so Waves 2 - 5 have an equal number of runners.
Runners will receive their wave assignments via email by Monday, July 24. If you MUST change waves, respond to the email no later than Wednesday, July 26 at midnight. Wave reassignments will not be made after Wednesday, July 26 at midnight.
Runners that register on Friday, July 28 at Packet Pickup will be assigned to available remaining spots in each wave.
Starts at the intersection of Milledge Avenue and Dearing Street, south on Milledge Avenue to Five Points (intersection of Milledge Ave., Lumpkin St., and Milledge Circle). Course is USATF certified GA18026DJ. Course Map HERE.
Overall awards and CASH prizes to the male and female racers who are the top 3 finishers overall, 1st masters, and 1st grandmasters.

MERCY HEALTH CENTER
Mercy has been providing free medical, dental, pharmacy, counseling, and health education to the uninsured of Clarke, Barrow, Jackson, Madison, Oglethorpe, and Oconee counties for more than two decades. We are able to carry out our mission to serve nearly 2,000 patients annually with the help of more than 500 volunteers and generous donations to help our neighbors in need.
PROJECT SAFE
Project Safe is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to end domestic violence through crisis intervention, ongoing supportive services, systems change advocacy, and prevention and education. Project Safe’s primary service area is Madison County, Oconee County, Clarke County, and Oglethorpe County, but provides services to people from all over Georgia.
CHESS AND COMMUNITY
Chess and Community is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering young people in Athens, Georgia and beyond. We believe in the power of chess to inspire critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills in youth. In addition to chess, we also offer robotics, STEM, and debate programs that help young people develop a wide range of skills and interests. Our programs are designed to expose young people to new opportunities and prepare them to be leaders in their communities. We are committed to helping youth reach their full potential and become exceptional in all of their present and future endeavors.
