Description
Join us for some SOIL SEARCHING!
Have you ever wanted to learn about proper trail building techniques or help maintain your local trails? Here is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to properly help and build sustainable trails.
Learn about natural surface trail design,
construction and maintenance, using hand tools.
A one-hour presentation from Walt Bready, followed by hands-on outdoor maintenance exercises.
The classroom session will be held at Georgia Cycle Sport, then we’ll head over to Walker Park to do some hands-on work at the trails.
Specialized Bicycles will be supplying refreshments!
CLASS IS CAPPED AT 20 PARTICIPANTS!
Cost: $60 for non-members or free to SORBA Athens members (please join at $50 level if you can).
