*POSTPONED INDEFINITELY* Deerwood Academy Walk/Run for Reading 5K

Out of an abundance of caution, the Deerwood Academy Run/Walk for Reading 5K has been postponed indefinitely. This decision was made with the safety of our village and our supporters as our top priority. We would like to thank everyone who has registered thus far. Your support of Deerwood Academy is greatly appreciated. A representative from Deerwood Academy will be individually contacting registered participants in order to discuss specifics regarding your donation or payment. We thank you for your continued support and send you well wishes of good health during this time of uncertainty.

Are you ready to have a colorful time! Join us as we practice self care through fitness while raising money for the literacy program at Deerwood Academy! Our 5K will kick off with a color explosion dance party! This event will take place at Princeton Lakes Park in Southwest Atlanta. The race will begin and end at Princeton Lakes Park, winding through the Princeton Lakes Subdivision and Deerwood Academy.  Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place adult and child contestants. Everyone will receive a participation ribbon. As a thank you, participants who register before March 14, 2020 will receive a FREE custom t shirt to wear during the event!  Registration fees are $25 for adults and $10 for children (shown when order is processed). Children must be accompanied by a race registered adult. Monetary donations are also accepted and appreciated. Your registration fees and/or financial donations will be used to fund exciting literacy initiatives for the scholars of Deerwood Academy.
