NABJ 5K RUN/WALK

Join NABJ members, friends, journalists, media professionals, students, educators, and supporters from across the country for the NABJ 5K Run/Walk during the 2026 NABJ Convention & Career Fair in Atlanta, Georgia.

All fitness levels are welcome—from competitive runners to first-time walkers.

Whether you're a competitive runner, first-time 5K participant, casual walker, or simply looking to start your convention weekend with movement, wellness, and fellowship, the NABJ 5K Run/Walk welcomes participants of all fitness levels and is designed to promote healthy living, community engagement, and connection.

Participants will receive an official commemorative race T-shirt, finisher medal, professional chip timing, complimentary shuttle transportation from the host hotel, and an unforgettable race experience during the 2026 NABJ Convention.

A portion of the proceeds from the NABJ 5K Run/Walk will benefit NABJ's Journalism Student Projects (JSHOP), the organization's premier training and mentoring program that helps prepare, educate, and inspire the next generation of journalists and media professionals.
