5K - 8:00 AM | 1 Mile Fun Run - 9:00 AM

Join the fun Sunday, May 3, 2026.  Gather with your friends, neighbors, and family for a run or walk featuring beautiful Candler Park neighborhood streets and the Freedom Park Path.  All proceeds from the event benefit the Mary Lin Elementary PTA.

START/FINISH LOCATION

• The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run start and finish at Mary Lin Elementary School (586 Candler Park Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30307). 

COURSE INFORMATION 

Course time limit:  

• 5K - 59 minutes (19 minute/mile pace)
• Fun Run - 30 minutes (30 minutes/mile)

5K Age Guidelines

• 5K participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by parent or other responsible adult while on the course

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE AT ANY TIME

EVENT DETAILS

• Limited Edition 2026 Rocket Run Shirts available to participants who register prior to April 17th   (T-shirt availability and sizing are not guaranteed for participants registering after April 17th)
• Family friendly start time - 5K - 8:00 AM, 1 Mile - 9:00 AM
• Runners, Walkers, and Strollers welcome
• AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier

• 7:00 AM - Race Day Number Pick-Up & Registration opens
• 8:45 AM - Race Day Number Pick-up & Registration closes
• 8:00 AM - Rocket Run 5K start
• 9:00 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run start
• 9:30 AM - 5K Awards
