The inaugural 404 Run is just around the corner, and we’re excited to welcome you on April 4. Below are your final event details to help you have a smooth and enjoyable race day experience.

Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, warm-up, and pre-race activities.

Herman J. Russell West End Academy
(Football Field / Track behind the school)
765 Peeples St SW
Atlanta, GA 30310

We’ll be utilizing the Westside BeltLine area. Please follow signage and directions from volunteers upon arrival.  Course route below.

 
📦 PACKET PICKUP
We strongly encourage early pickup to make race morning smooth.

Race Day Pickup:

T-shirts will be distributed after the race and during early packet pickup.

Please dress appropriately and be prepared for the conditions.

• Stay to the right when possible
• Be mindful of other runners
• Follow all course signage and volunteer instructions
• Hydrate before and after the race
• Water will be available on the course

The 404 Run is a 4.04-mile road race celebrating movement, culture, and community on April 4 (404 Day) in Atlanta.

More than a race, the 404 Run is designed as an Atlanta experience — blending running, music, art, and city pride into a day that feels unmistakably 404.

Whether you’re running for yourself, for someone you love, or for the city, this is your invitation to be part of something new in year one.

Atlanta has no shortage of races — but this one is different.

The 404 Run was created to celebrate the energy, resilience, and culture of the city on the one day that belongs entirely to Atlanta: 404 Day.

At 4.04 miles, the distance is intentional. Long enough to feel accomplished. Approachable enough to welcome runners of all levels. Built for people who want more than a finish line — they want an experience.  And yes, you can walk it.,

From the course to the atmosphere, everything about the 404 Run is designed to reflect Atlanta’s spirit and bring people together through movement.

This is the first year of the 404 Run. Year one matters.  

The 404 Run will take place along one of Atlanta’s most iconic park and BeltLine corridors. Final start/finish details and the official course map will be shared with registered participants closer to race day.

8:45 Opening Ceremony & Warm up

10:00 Award Ceremony
9:00 -12:00 Race Celebration
 
Finishers will receive a T-Shirt and Finisher’s medal.
 
Award Categories: Overall Male and Female.  Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+Time: 10:00am

Course: Road / paved path

Timing: Professionally chipped timed
 
❤️ RUN FOR A REASON 

We are celebrating the city and fighting cancer.  A portion of every registration goes toward cancer research.  Participants will have the option to indicate if they are running in honor or memory of someone who has fought or is fighting cancer.

Those names may be recognized as part of the event experience — creating a meaningful connection between movement, memory, and community.

Participation is optional, but the invitation is open.

The A will be on full display on 4/4/26 - don't just hear about it, be part of it!
