There will be no Age Group Awards for the 1 Mile Race

There will be no awards for the Kids Fun Run

We are closely monitoring the weather for Monday Night's race event and will be adding several safety measures to help participants manage the heat and humidity including additional water stops, ice, and cold towels. We will make additional adjustments at the direction of our EMS and APD advisors to assure the ultimate safety of our participants, volunteers and staff. 
Please plan to take personal responsibility to assure your race night is safe and enjoyable:
-First and foremost, please do not take on the course if you are not in proper running/walking shape and have any medical conditions that are magnified by extreme heat and humidity.
-Changes to a shorter distance can easily be made through your RunSignUp account or at the Run Social Expo packet pick up. Click HERE for How to Change my race category through RunSignUp
-Plan to wear light and breathable clothing
-Plan to run/walk with a water bottle and utilize the aid stations to refuelPlan to pace slowly and be OK with walking and taking your time on the course (Monday Night will have plenty of beer and Lidl will save you a banana so no need to rush)
