Description
In Person Race:
Come celebrate moms and join us for a 5K run around the Mall of Georgia! Run with your mom, run in honor of your mom, or just come cheer her on as she Rocks and Runs around this 2 loop flat, fast course. Once you're done running, spend the day perusing the 200+ shops and take mom to lunch at one of the many restaurants at the Mall of Georgia. See the event schedule for more details.
Virtual Race:
Run 5K anywhere anytime that you choose. Virtual participants can upload their times from May 9th to May 16th, but they will not be included in awards. All virtual packets will be mailed out the week of the race. Price includes shipping to the continental United States. Please do not show up on site to pick up your packet!

Event Info
Race Start Time: The 5K will start at 8:00 AM with a time trial start. Athletes will line up in 3 lines spaced 6' apart, and 1 athlete from each line will start every 10 seconds. This process will continue until all athletes have started. This allows us to start over 500 athletes every 30 minutes. Depending on COVID regulations, the start could be adjusted. All athletes must be off course by 10AM. Race cap at this time is set to 1000 runners.
T-SHIRTS
All registrants will receive the size they register for. We will not be able to hold shirts after race day. We will not ship shirts unless you are a virtual registrant. T-shirt exchanges can only be made on site after the race if they are available.
AWARDS
Awards will be presented in the Village area adjacent to the finish. Awards will start at approximately 9:30AM and will be based off of chip time. Awards will not be mailed, and they will be given in following groups:
- Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female (not eligible for Age Group awards)
- Age groups-1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Male and Female- 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older
TIMING
Chip Timed
Live on-site and online results.
Age group awards are based on one’s age on race day.
Age group awards are based on official net time.
All participants are assigned an electronic timing device prior to the event in their Participant Packet.
Participants must wear their assigned timing device continuously to receive an accurate finish time.
No Pets leashed or unleashed.
PACKET PICK-UP
7:00AM-7:45AM Race Morning in the grassy area of the village in front of the stage at the Mall of Georgia.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Day of race registration will not be open onsite, but you can registration online from a home computer or mobile device until 7:45AM on race day.
