Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join us for Bree’s Miles of Memories! This annual event is a heartfelt tribute to the remarkable person Breanna Leigh Chadwick was and continues to be. Although she is deeply missed, her memory lives on through this meaningful event and the work of the Bree's Legacy,
For all the Dr. Seuss fans out there, Seussville will be in full swing! Expect to see characters like the Cat in the Hat and friends mingling around, offering perfect photo opportunities. Don’t forget to take advantage of free photography services to capture those special moments.
As part of the event, there will be a Memorial Presentation honoring Breanna, reflecting on the incredible impact she made on so many lives. It’s a time to come together and remember her kindness, compassion, and enduring spirit.
Bree’s Miles of Memories is packed with activities for all ages! Children aged 10 and under will receive a Dr. Seuss book as a keepsake. We’re awarding $250 to two groups—one student organization and one business or community group with the most participants. Please note, groups are eligible for only one prize.
Feeling creative? Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character for a chance to win a special prize. All racers will receive a commemorative race shirt to remember the day and their participation in this extraordinary event.
The best part? All proceeds go directly to Bree's Legacy supporting the values Breanna cherished most: love, charity, kindness, and community. Plus, this race is a Peachtree Qualifier!

Beneficiary
Bree's Legacy is a cooperative and collaborative foundation that aims to educate, serve, and provide aid to the community. Our organization will strive to be the embodiment of Breanna’s virtue, passion, and servant’s heart. Our work will include educating the general public on the needs of the community, promoting and orchestrating continued learning through book donations, and adopting an at-risk family during the holidays.

Awards and Goodies
The event will be timed, and we'll have awards in the following Categories:
- Top Male and Female Overall
- Top Male Masters Overall and Female Masters Overall
- Top 3 Males and Females in each of the age groups below:
- 10 and under
- 11 to 14
- 15 to 19
- 20 to 29
- 30 to 39
- 40 to 49
- 50 to 59
- 60 to 69
- 70 and over
All registered participants age 10 and under will receive a free Dr. Seuss book.
Participants registered by 03/01/2025 are guaranteed a T-Shirt in their size. Afterward, they'll be while supplies last.
Virtual Run Instructions
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? Or, maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!" Then, the virtual race is for you. Run when & where you want, just submit your time by end of Race Day. We'll ship out virtual packages the week after event date! *Shipping available for continental US only.
New to Virtual Running? Here's how it works:
- Step 1 - Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up, and register for the Bree's Miles of Memories 5K Virtual!
- Step 2 - Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not), and get ready to get moving!
- Step 3 - Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.
- Step 4 - HAVE FUN!
- Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route, and use the hashtag #BreesMilesofMemories5K #breeslegacy
- Step 5 - Submit your results directly on RunSignUp.com
- You can submit your race time on the Virtual Results page anytime until 03/15/2025 11:59 PM.
- Step 6 -View your Virtual Results Monday after the Event Date.

- March 1 - Last day to register for a guaranteed race shirt in your size

Refund Policy
- All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
- Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
- Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
