Coach English Trail Run

Join us on Friday, April 18th, 2025, at 6pm at Blankets Creek Park for a 3-mile(ish) trail run to honor and remember Coach Brandon English, a loved community member. There will be live music, fire pits, food, and drinks. Every race entry includes a race t-shirt, and free entry into a push-up challenge! Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers as well as participants who place 1, 2 or 3 in their respective age groups and kids fun run division.

Coach English was a friend, teacher, coach and community member who passed away in 2017. Coach English taught PE in Cherokee County for over 20 years and left behind a legacy that will last forever. This event will raise money to support the annual scholarship that has been setup in his name and will be awarded to a deserving graduate of a Cherokee County High School who intends to pursue a degree in Physical Education and/or a health and wellness related field.
