Glow for Life 5K & 1M

Please join us for the 10th Annual Glow for Life 5K & 1M to benefit Bartow Family Resources!  (can you believe it's been TEN YEARS!!!!) This amazing race takes place at sunset in beautiful Sam Smith Park in Cartersville, GA. 

This year's race will enjoy a new and improved (and faster are certain!) Race Route!!!  While the Start / Finish Location will once again be located on the entrance road to the City of Cartersville Sr. Aquatic Center, this year's route will utilize additional elements of the both the Sam Smith Park Trail system as well as leveraging parts of area surface streets to allow our runners to speed up!    Parking will once again be located in the field next to the Aquatic Center, but the updated Start/Finish location will provide a bit more room for pre and post race activities including more room for race day registration, food trucks, vendors, and the overall festivities! 

If you've never run this one....you have missed out!  SO hey...don't miss out again!!!  It's a party and a sight to see! 

SCHEDULE

5:30 PM:   Event Opens, (Food Trucks, Registration, Music!) 

7:15PM:  1 Mile Run/Walk

7:50 PM:   5K Race

BAM!  BOOM!  FIREWORKS!!!! 

It will once again be a fantastic evening with events kicking off at 5:30 PM and culminating with one of the largest fireworks shows in all of N. Georgia at approximately 9:00PM.

The 5K Course is super-fast and (mostly) flat (except for the one hill…but don’t worry…what goes up, must come down!) and is a Certified Peachtree Qualifier.  Come and enjoy the fully RFID Chip-timed race by our friends from Wire2Wire Running.

• 10&U, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&O

Pre-Registration will run until Sunday evening, March 19th, at 11:00 PM. 

Pre-Race Packet Pick up will be held from Noon - 6:00 PM PM on Friday, March 24th at the Bartow Family Resources Office located at 200 Leake St., Cartersville.
