Benefiting Angel Baby Support Program, an outreach of Moms United.

The Angel Walk 5K is a heartfelt and healing community even hosted in memory of children who left this earth too soon.  Whether they lived for years or only moments, this walk is a reminder that their lives matter and their impact lives on.  Families, friends, and supporters will gather on Main Street in Cedartown to walk or run i n honor of angel babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or DSIDS.  This inspiring race is more than just steps--it's a tribute to love, hope, and healing.  Participants are encouraged to wear angel wings, shirts with their child's name, or bring signs in memory.  Every footstep carries a message: that grief can birth purpose and pain can walk hand-in-hand with hope.

• You'll pass through the "Memory Lane Tribute Zone" with signs displaying names and/or photos of children being honored.
• Angel Wings photo Backdrop for remembrance photos
• Remembrance Ceremony before awards (Bubble or candle release with reading of names)
• Personalized Bibs with "Walking for -----"
• Keepsake Angel Bracelet for all participants
• Healing and Resource Village with local grief support organizations and doulas
• Stroller and Family-Friendly Route
• Color Theme: White, Lavender, light blue, and gold
• Volunteer photo to capture the event
• Tribute Tree Booth where families can create cards and/or messages to hang in memory

*$40 Race Day Registration Fee

5K Start-Finish & Race Day Parking:

*The 5K Start & Finish Lines are located on Main Street in downtown Cedartown, GA.

*There is plenty of race parking downtown near the start/finish area.

*7:55 AM Pre-Race Announcements
*8:00 AM 5K Start
*9:00 AM 1Mi. Angel Baby Tribute Walk Start
*9:15 AM Awards Presentation

Packet Pick up: 

Packet Pick-up will be held Friday, Oct. 24th, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the TBA location. 

5K Awards:

5K Awards will be given to the following: 

Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
Top Master’s Male and Top Master’s Female Winners
Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Categories:

     [10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over]

1Mi. Awards:

While the 1 Mile Walk does not have awards, your reward will be the applause when you finish and pride in having done so!! 

Professional Timing:

The race will once again be professionally chip-timed by our friends from Wire2Wire Running.  Results will be posted on their website results page.
