Event Description
Lace up your running or walking shoes and join us for the 4th Annual Rec and Run 5K hosted by the White County Recreation Dept.
Whether you are running for a PR, walking with friends or just cheering from the sidelines, this event is all about coming together and having a BLAST!
After you cross the finish line, the fun is just getting started. Join us for the After Dash Bash. Details below.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup begins at 3PM
5K starts at 4PM

Awards will be given to:
Overall Male and Female
Masters Male and Female
Top 3 in each age group beginning with 10 and Under up to 80 and over
Shirts and Goodies
Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by May 8th, 2026. Those who register after that date and on race day are NOT guaranteed a shirt or size

Timing and Results
The race will be accurately timed by BT Race Timing. This race WILL NOT be chip timed. Please fill out the finish card, handed to you as you finish. Put your name, age, bib number and gender on the card, no need to put your time. Please turn in your card at the results boards for it to be posted. Failure to turn in your card will prohibit you from receiving an award on race day. Complete results will be posted to RunSignUp.com, BTRaceTiming.com, Athlinks.com and RunGeorgia.com after the race
Course Information
The entire course is run within the park on paved surfaces. It can be challenging in some areas, so pace yourself.
Refund Policy
Sorry, no refunds for any reason
In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. Race may be postponed up to 1 hour in event of dangerous weather or canceled. Local authorities or race directors may cancel or postpone the race for any reason they deem necessary.
