Clubview Elementary School will host its annual Glow Fun Run and 5K on Friday, March 21, 2025. The races will begin and end at the school. All participants registered prior to February 28 will receive a race shirt. Race packets can be picked up on Thursday, March 20 from 11AM to 3PM in front of Clubview. Race packets can also be picked up beginning at 6PM on the day of the race.
6:30PM: Pre-race activities begin. Music, food trucks and more!
8:00PM: Glow Fun Run begins and circles the Clubview and Richards Middle School block.
8:30PM: 5K race through the Clubview neighborhood!
9:30PM: Awards ceremony begins! 5K awards will be given to the top three male and female racers overall as well as the top three male and female racers in each age bracket.
COST: $20 for the Fun Run and $30 for the 5K. Prices will increase by $5 on March 2nd. Rain or shine, no refunds will be given.
If you do not wish to register online, you may complete a paper registration form at the Clubview Elementary School front office and pay by cash or check (made payable to Clubview PTA).

Dear Community Partners:
We invite you to participate as a sponsor of Clubview Glow Fun Run & 5K! This event is held annually and is sponsored by the Clubview Elementary School PTA. The race has been organized as a fundraiser for our school as well as a way to promote health and wellness in our community. Last year, we registered over 400 runners and hosted close to 1,000 event attendees!
The 2025 event will take place the evening of Friday, March 21 at Clubview Elementary School. Pre-race activities will include food trucks, entertainment, games, and lots of glow gear available for purchase! Students, parents, faculty and the entire Columbus community are invited to be a part of this event. The Fun Run race will begin at 8:00 p.m. The course will circle the perimeter of Clubview Elementary School and Richards Middle School. The 5K race will begin at 8:30 p.m. The course maneuvers throughout our Midtown neighborhood on both sides of Edgewood Road, finishing at Clubview. Lightning Sports will assist with our race registration and timing process.
Clubview is an International Baccalaureate World School. We teach the whole child through an inquiry-based model that allows individuals to grow their knowledge, talents, interests, confidence, and abilities through a variety of expressions, including physical expression. Our school also works to instill a strong sense of civic responsibility in our students, both locally and globally. We feel our community Fun Run and 5K embrace all that we strive to teach our children and we invite you to be a part of it.
Our fundraising goal this year is $10,000! We are seeking monetary and in-kind sponsorships with benefits detailed on the attached page. Your sponsorship helps support our mission, defrays the cost of organizing the event, and contributes to our fundraising efforts to provide educational resources and opportunities for our students. Our sponsorships last year allowed us to provide Clubview teachers with over $5,000 in grants to spend on classroom materials! Glow Run sponsorships have also allowed us to provide family events, teacher appreciation activities, and curriculum supplements.
