Annual “Light It Up Blue Columbus 5K and Family Friendly Walk”

Light It Up Blue Columbus 5K Run and Fun Walk is to celebrate World Autism Awareness Month. It will take place on Saturday, April 25th, 2020 at the Cascade Hills Church, Columbus, Georgia. The run registration starts at 7:15 A.M. and the race begins at 8:00 A.M. Registration for the Fun Walk starts at 9:30 A.M. and the event ends at 1 P.M. This community event includes a 5K Run and a family friendly walk that supports Greater Chattahoochee Valley families affected by autism. April is World Autism Awareness Month, thousands of iconic landmarks across the globe unite, by shining bright blue lights in honor of the millions of individuals and families around the world affected by autism. This event benefits the Autism Hope Center; all proceeds will stay here in the Greater Chattahoochee Valley, to provide year-round support for the more than 3,000 individuals that are affected by autism. According to the CDC, 1 in 59 children are on the autism spectrum. Therefore, the need for services and support has never been greater.

Walk Registration includes a t-shirt.  5K Race registration included a tri-blend fit shirt, race-time, and scoring services using bib TAB chip timing with disposable chip on the bib number. Event t-shirts are guaranteed only if pre-registered prior to 04/15/2020.
