Description
Lakeside Middle school in Cumming is once again fired up for the Jungle Run 5K...But this time we're running at night...So Bring your Glow Gear.
This is the 4th annual, and is sure to be a great event. A great closed course takes participants through the Lakeside & Haw Creek school complex. We'll have some glow items & shirts for all participants, as well as award medals for the overall M/F, overall master's M/F, overall grand master M/F, overall sr. master M/F, and age group awards for the top 3 in all the usual 5 year age groups (10 & under through 75+).
Course: The course starts and finishes in front of the school, and is pretty fast. 74' of total elevation gain means you'll be getting a fast time.
Awards & Shirts: Race shirts & sizes (women's cut too) are guaranteed to all 5K participants registered by Mar. 4. All registrations afterwards will receive a shirt while supplies last.
Custom award medals as follows: Overall M/F, Overall Masters M/F, Overall Grand Master's M/F, Overall Sr. Master's M/F, Top three in 5 year age groups starting at 10 & under and going through 75 +.
Five Star 5K Champ, & Turkey Trot: All participants will receive Free entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot.
Top finishers will also earn a qualifying spot in the Five Star 5K Championships. See www.fivestarntp.com for full details.
Event Courtesy & Refund Policy: Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds. All registrations are final. We're sorry but there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments. The event will take place rain or shine. In the event of conditions that are unsafe, the event may be cancelled or rescheduled...We're sorry but in this instance, there are no refunds.
