Join us on Saturday, April 28th to kick off the 22nd Annual Mountain Ranger Run and Bike Races at Camp Frank D. Merrill. Choose your distance for the run with 5k and 15k options, or grab your mountain bike and hit the single track for 34k. Stick around after the race and spend the day at the Ranger Camp watching demonstrations, repelling, and more! Open House is free of charge and open to the public.
Showers will be open after the race to clean up so you can stay for Open House!

The 34k mountain bike course is a good mix of forest service and technical single track trail that will offer a challenge to any level of rider. The elevation profile is moderate with some small creek crossings and a little bit of gravel road for a fast finish. Overall, this course has a little bit of everything that north Georgia has to offer anyone.
**Rough Draft Route** This link will provide the course from last year. Please note, this is tentative for this year and the start/finish will be on the airfield, not behind the Overhang Club as in previous years. As soon as we have the final, approved route, we will share that as well. https://www.strava.com/activities/953216117
The 15k course is a great loop, consisting of old forest service roads, rolling hills, and water crossings. The trail is not too technical, so it's a fast route!
