Description
Do you dream of being a Power Forward? Or maybe a Point Guard or Center? Or maybe you have no idea what that means. No matter your feelings about basketball, March Madness is on the way, and what better time would there be to get involved in all the action!
We've put together not one, but two road races for you to score!
Start & Finish on the half court line at Rock Creek Park in Dawsonville. Participants will head out the door to run the race and then return to Finish at the half court line; and that's not all! As you cross over the Finish, you'll even have the opportunity to SCORE! We'll toss you a ball & you can make your shot!; not required. You can throw it from downtown for a three pointer, dribble and hit it from the free throw line, finish a layup, or if you have it in you; SLAM DUNK!
WAIT...THERE'S MORE!
You can run the 4K or the 4 miler...or...Run them both and complete the Shoot the Hoop Challenge! The 4K will start at 8 AM and the 4-Miler will start at 8:30 AM so you'll need to be back before 8:30AM to start the 4-Miler.
All Participants will receive an amazing sleeveless or tank (perfect for the new warmer weather AND it goes with the whole basketball theme).
Awards for both individual Events and a Finisher Trophy for the Shoot the Hoop Challenge! Don't forget to grab your friends because the Fastest Team of 5 will win great team awards as well.

Grab your family, friends, and co-workers and participate as a team. Score a great discount and nothing will replace the additional fun.
We'll even have a special award for the Fastest Team of 5 in the 4K & 4-Miler events.

COURSE & TIMING
We're in North Georgia and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast, but this is pretty darn close!
We'll be starting & finishing inside on the Basketball Half Court Line, so your run is guaranteed to finish with a glory shot!~ (Shooting the hoop is not required)
All participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration on course (i.e. water bottle, handheld, vest, etc.) To limit contact, there will be no water station. Water will be provided at the finish
AWARDS & GOODIES
We'll have some pretty awesome medals in both races as follows. Awards for the 4K will be at 9 AM and will be at 9:45 AM for the 4-Miler & Challenge; time may vary slightly on event day.
Awards for the 4K & 4-Miler:
- Top 3 Overall M/F
- Top 3 Overall Masters M/F
- Overall Grand Master (50 yrs +)
- Overall Senior Grand Master (60 yrs +)
- Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups 10 & Under through 75+.
- TEAM award for Fastest Team of 5!
Awards for Shoot the Hoop Challenge:
- All participants will receive a Finisher Trophy. *Trophy will not be mailed out due to S&H costs.

VIRTUAL RUNNING - HOW IT WORKS & LINK FOR TIME SUBMISSION
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? or maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!" Then the virtual race is for you. Run when & where you want, just submit your time by end of Race Day. We'll ship out virtual packages the Monday after event date (within the Continental US)!

Step 1
Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up and register for the Road to the Final Four Virtual 4K, 4-Miler or Shoot the Hoop Challenge!
Step 2
Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!
Step 3
Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!
Step 4
HAVE FUN!~
Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the hashtag #RoadtotheFinalFour
Step 5
Submit your results online directly onto RunSignUp from the Results Page on the event or your Profile Page.
You can submit your race time anytime between 3/27/2022 until 4/2/2022 end of day..
Step 6
View your Virtual Results Monday after the Event Date.
EVENT COURTESY POLICY & REFUND POLICY
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
Five Star Championship & Turkey Trot
This is one of the first opportunities for Top Finishers to earn a spot in the Championships Event to be held in January 2024. The number of spots available is based on the total registration. See event website for details.
All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into ONE of the 2023 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots.
