Due to not enough sign-ups to justify closing the roads and also not to our quality of maximizing our events with having a fun amount of participants. Join us for a morning 5K through beautiful neighborhoods of Decatur. This course is very similar to our award winning Three Taverns 5K (2019 Atlanta Magazine "Best of 5K") we held previously in Decatur. And the vibe and t-shirt will be even better!
In partnership with the Simply Us Doing our Share SUDS: A Decatur Craft Beer Experience! 1 complimentary 12 oz local craft beer for 21 and over participants. Also live music and hot food for post race mini-fest before the SUDS festival later in the afternoon. Get your run in before taking on the beer fest!
Family Pack sign-up available for 3-4 family members: $85.
Family Team scoring too. Create a family team (3+) when registering and you'll be qualified for both individual awards as well as a top 3 Team awards (team scoring is the top 3 finishers on a team; 4th+ placed finisher times will not count).

John M. Gallagher Memorial Run
The meaning behind the memorial run. Read below from Michael Gallagher Owner Brickstore Pub and SUDS co-organizer:
I am one of six children. My Mom and Dad were married at 19 years old. My father died on March 17, 2021. It doesn’t get any more Irish than this.
When we were young, my father was our track coach. He was our coach at our Catholic grade school and then in the summers when we were in high school he became a coach again. He trained us for the Junior Olympics. I can vividly remember jogging with my father, warming up and preparing for the mile repeats in the hills around our neighborhood. I grew up outside of Philadelphia. Training in grey sweatsuits in the 80’s like Rocky.
My dad was my hero. Running is still my strong connection to my dad. I can’t go out for a run and not connect with him. It’s the best.
We hope you connect with yourself and maybe even a loved one as you enjoy the 5K on October 28th.

General Admission Tickets include unlimited pours from 25+ breweries, plus a collectors S.U.D.S. souvenir tasting glass. Amazing food options available for purchase, including bites from local favorites, Chef Grant Crain of Brick Store Pub, Catherine Zuber of La Chiquiada & James Beard Award Winner Chef Terry Koval, of The Deer and the Dove.
