Description
Help us celebrate the 25th anniversary of the R.H. Daniel School of Nursing by going Red with us for American Heart Month. Our Junior Class is using this run as a fundraiser for their annual pinning ceremony. The pinning ceremony is a tradition and rite of passage for the Nursing Profession to show completion of coursework and readiness to selflessly serve others. With the growing shortage of Nurses, Piedmont wants to promote Nurses and recruit future Healthcare Professionals to continue to support our community. Come run with us and see the beauty of all that Piedmont University has to offer!

Course
The 5K course starts and finishes on the campus of Piedmont College and runs through campus and adjacent neighborhoods.
This is a fairly challenging course with several hills.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over
Virtual Option
Run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on February 24, 2024. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.
Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts.
Race Series and Finishline Management
The Piedmont Goes Red 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series.
Finishline management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
