Course
The Start and Finish are on the Gatewood Campus in front of the Gymnasium. The Fun Run runs through the campus. The 5K runs through town and returns to campus.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female, Overall Gatewood Alumni, Overall Gatewood Student and the following
5-year age groups: 6 and Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
Virtual Option
Run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Keep track of your time. Submit results using the RESULTS tab at the top of the page. Results may be submitted between 09/01/26 and 10/04/26 at 12 noon. Virtual participants are not eligible for t-shirts or race day awards.
Race Series and Finishline Management
The Gatewood Swamp Stomp is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series
Finishline management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
