This unique event is being presented by Fusion Dance Company of Cartersville!

We welcome and invite you to this year's 5th Annual race designed to benefit Dancers Against Cancer. 

Previously known as the "5 to Thrive 5K," the race has now been re-branded into the fun-filled, “Run Happy 5K!”  This charity event will take place Saturday evening, May 9th, 2026 in the same great location - DOWNTOWN EUHARLEE, GA!!!!

We are thrilled to once again be partnered with the Drowned Valley Brewing Company’s “The Outpost,” who will host the Race Staging and Finish Line areas for the race! 

While the 5K will start at 6:30 PM, the party will get kicked off at 4:00 PM with...

• Face-Painting
• A Kids Zone, of course
• Jammin' Tunes
• YES!! It'll all be happening adjacent to the Drowned Valley Brewing Company’s “The Outpost,” located at 118 Covered Bridge Rd., Euharlee, GA...all this, leading up to the 6PM start of the Fun Run, followed by the 5K at 6:30 PM.

And...as an added bonus... All Adults age 21 & Older (registered in 5K) will receive 1 free drink from Drowned Valley!

Proceeds will benefit the Dancers Against Cancer Charity along with additional monetary donations to families that have been affected by cancer. But there’s more! 'Early Bird' / PRE- Registration:

Pre-Race Registration Fee  -  $30*   

(*This price valid until midnight, Sunday evening, May 3rd. You must register by this date to guarantee your T-shirt size and lock in the reduced rate!) 

LATE & RACE DAY Registration:

Race Day Registration Fee  - $40**

(** Note: Price Increases beginning Monday morning, May 4th. Please note: T-shirt size cannot be guaranteed.)

5K Start-Finish & Race Day Parking:

See 5K race course/map below -- and check this out...participants get to run through the historic covered bridge as well as in/around historic downtown Euharlee!  The Wire2Wire Finish Line is located adjacent to the covered bridge and the Drowned Valley's ”The Outpost.”

Race Day Parking will be located in the large lot of the Euharlee Baptist Church.  Overflow parking will be located next door in the Woodland Middle School Parking Lot.

4:00 PM - Event Opens: Dance Performances, Sponsors, Kids Zone, & Entertainment!  
4:30 PM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up Opens
6:00 PM - Fun Run 
6:40 PM - 5K 
7:30 PM - Awards

Race Timing provided by Wire2Wire Running, LLC

Once again, the race will be professionally chip-timed, using the same MyLaps equipment as the Boston Marathon, Tour de France, and Peachtree Road Race.
