Fall  Fitness Virtual Challenge: Fueled by FAITH and Powered by PRAISE!

Details: 

Join us for a virtual fall challenge! Walk, Run, Hike, Elliptical, or Bike  miles in any increment between the first day of fall September 22nd and Thanksgiving day November 26th. You set your mileage goal this year! Set a goal you will have to work hard to complete! Examples of goals would be 50, 100, or 150 miles. 

Participation: FREE! We want EVERYONE to have the opportunity to participate and receive a T-shirt! 

T-shirt included! You will have the option to "Opt Out" of a t-shirt if you would like to see more money raised for the Boxes of Hope Ministry or you just do not want a shirt. 

DONATIONS ENCOURAGED!!  This event will be strictly donation based. Help us raise money for the Boxes of Hope Ministry at NSBC by choosing to add a donation to your registration.  All funds raised above event costs will be utilized to support the ongoing ministries at New Salem Baptist church and the Boxes of Hope Ministry. We are raising the final funds to fill 250 boxes of food for local Griffin families this Thanksgiving.

Ways you can donate:  

1. Add your donation during the event registration process! 
2. Return to the website at a later date and just click the DONATE button if you are already registered!
3. You want to donate but not sign up to participate: Click the DONATE button!
4. You prefer to donate by cash or check: Submit cash or check to New Salem Baptist Church in an envelope CLEARLY marked for "Fall Fitness Challenge". Checks made payable to New Salem Baptist Church, memo line: Fall Fitness Challenge Donation.

We encourage you to use this challenge as motivation to spend time with the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving while you accumulate your miles. We encourage you to be intentional about praying for a spirit of gratitude and thankfulness to God for the blessings in your life and your salvation through your Savior Jesus Christ. We encourage you to let this challenge motivate you to share what God has done in your life with those around you. By the end of the challenge you will have accomplished your miles and written down praises to the Lord to turn your heart toward Him as we enter this season of Thanksgiving! Join with a friend so you can encourage each other and share your testimonies of God’s goodness! Follow us on the Active Faith Facebook page for weekly devotional videos and to post encouragement / photos. Every Tuesday at 7:00 PM starting September 29th a devotion video will be posted. Watch the video within a week and comment on the post to be entered into our end of challenge raffle to win prizes!  We encourage you to tune in and watch these devotionals to add to your intentionality of drawing closer to the Lord through this challenge.

Once you register you will receive an email within 24 hours from NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com with your log form. This will also be the email to submit your completed log at the end of the challenge. 

1 Chronicles 16: 23-25 is our scripture passage of focus for this challenge.

When you finish your miles submit an email copy of your completed log sheet to NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com  by Tuesday, December 1st to have your name added to the finishers list. Email any photos you would like shared on the NSBC Active Faith Public FB page or share them to the page to encourage others and share your progress! When you complete your registration you will receive an email with the log sheet attached within 24 hours of registration. The email will come from NSBCactivefaithministry@gmail.com. Paper copies of the log sheet are available at New Salem Baptist Church on the connection center.

T-shirt deadline is October 14th. Registration will close October 14th at 11:59. You must be registered by October 14th at 11:59PM to receive a T-shirt.
