Description
Come out to the 27th Annual Flapjack 5K Run presented by the Optimist Club of Jasper. The course starts in downtown Jasper GA and runs a fairly flat out and back route on the paved streets.
Everyone who registers will get a free Flapjack (pancake) breakfast. Registrants may purchase more tickets for breakfast at $5 each during the registration process.
If you don't want to register for the event but still want a Flapjack breakfast, you must click on the store tab at the top of the page. .
Early Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup and late registration will be at State Farm Office Friday 6/20/25 from 4PM to 6PM. 360 W. Church St, Jasper GA 30143
Race Day Schedule
7AM to 7:45AM - On site registration and packet pickup
7:45AM begin heading to the start line. It is a short walk to the start so please be registered and ready to head that way by 7:50AM
7:55AM Brief announcements at the start line
8AM race begins
8:30AM Flapjack breakfast begins for registered participants and purchased tickets
9:10AM Awards will begin
Awards
Unique, one of a kind awards will be given out.
Frying pans for Overall Male and Female finishers
Spatula's for age group awards. 3 Deep in 10 year age groups up to 80 and over
Shirts and Goodies
Shirts are guaranteed if registered by 6/12/25. Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or shirt size.
There will be a pancake breakfast after the race for all registered participants. Additional breakfast tickets can be purchased for $5 each during registration.
Visit the store tab at the top of the screen if you just want a Flapjack Breakfast and are not wanting to participate.
Results and Timing
The race will be accurately timed by BT Race Timing. This race WILL NOT be chip timed. Please fill out the finish card, handed to you as you finish. Put your name, age, bib number and gender on the card, no need to put your time. Please turn in your card at the results boards for it to be posted. Failure to turn in your card will prohibit you from receiving an award on race day. Complete results will be posted to RunSignUp.com, BTRaceTiming.com, Athlinks.com and RunGeorgia.com after the race
Parking
There will be plenty of free parking in downtown Jasper.
Other Information and Refunds
In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds for any reason.
