Event Description
Come put your best foot forward and support the Jefferson Recreation Scholarship Fund for the 14th Annual Freedom Run 5K.
After the race, there will be plenty of refreshments for everyone. Whether you run or walk, come join us for a great
time at the race and stay to enjoy the Jefferson Freedom Festival afterwards.

Price: $25.00 Race Fee + $3.15 Processing Fee
Registration: Price increases to $30.00 + $3.44 after June 16, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT

Course
This is the same course as used by the JMS Glow Run. The 5K course starts and finishes at Jefferson Middle School. Course runs through adjacent Elementary School campus and neighborhoods.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over
Race Series and Finishline Management
The Jefferson Freedom Run 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series.
Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
