Since 2017, Coach K & Lightweight Fitness gym has been building real momentum in Clayton County through fitness training, free weekly run club, free bootcamps across the county, and community outreached Teacher Tone Up in local schools. We believe fitness should be accessible, visible, and part of the culture.

The Clayco ’Til I Die 5K is an extension of that mission.

This race is about pride in where we’re from and bringing awareness to the health benefits of physical activity and mental wellness right here in Clayton County.

We will start outside Tara Stadium and take the race to the streets of Jonesboro and finish inside the stadium on the track with music, crowd energy, and a full vendor village celebration.

This is more than a race. This is Southside pride in motion.

REGISTRATION PRICING

$40 dollars until March 28th
$50 dollars March 29th through April 20th

No race day registration.
Prices increase automatically at 11:59 PM on deadline dates.

RACE BIB & T SHIRT PICK UP

Early pick up will be held at Lightweight Fitness gym the week of the race.

Exact dates and times for early pickup will be emailed to all registered participants prior to race week.

Race day bib pick up opens at 6:30 AM at Tara Stadium.
All participants must be checked in by 7:30 AM.

We strongly encourage early pickup to avoid race morning lines.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

6:30 AM Bib pick up opens
7:15 AM Group warm up & stretch
7:45 AM Runners report to start line
8:00 AM 5K official start
9:00 AM Awards ceremony

Schedule subject to adjustment.

AWARDS

Overall Male and Female
Top 3 Male and Female in each age group

Only timed runners qualify for awards.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Parking is available at Tara Stadium on a first come first serve basis. Rideshare and Carpool is strongly encouraged.

VIRTUAL OPTION

Virtual participants may complete the 5K at their preferred location and submit results online.

Virtual runners will receive their medal and shirt after race day.
