Join PCOS Sisters Telehealth Clinic & PCOS Challenge: The National Association for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome for our PCOS Trailblazers 5K: Walk, Hike, or Run for PCOS Awareness during PCOS Awareness Month this September.
Join us during PCOS Awareness Month as we walk, run, and raise our voices for the millions of women impacted by PCOS. This family-friendly event is open to ALL AGES AND FITNESS LEVELS. This is an untimed event, but In-Person and Virtual participants can enter their times here.
Whether you run, hike, or walk, come out and show your support at one of Douglas County's Georgia Film Trail stops 🎬, where Movies and TV Shows such as Atlanta, Avenger: Infinity War, Cobra Kai, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Hindsight, The Hunger Games, Killing Season, MacGyver, No Good Deed, and Resurrection have been filmed!

⏰ Time: 9:00am Race Start
📍 Location: Sweetwater Creek State Park (1750 Mt Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122) & Virtual
🚗 Parking: There is on-site parking for $5 CASH ONLY, we do recommend carpooling
👩⚕️ There will be Light Refreshments, Yoga, Live Painting, & Guest Speakers
Recommended Supplies: Trail Runners or running shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, Hiking Boots, Hiking Poles (if you find them helpful during hikes), Sunscreen, and the AllTrails app for hiking navigation, and Foldable Chairs for our post-race celebration
The 5K will take place on the Sweetwater Creek State Park Yellow Trail. There will also be a 1 mile Fun Hike for those who don’t enjoy inclines and elevation changes
Virtual Options Available! Join us in celebrating this incredible event by participating online. Let's come together as a community and make this event unforgettable for everyone involved. The virtual option is available for the entire month of September (09/01-09/30)!
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) impacts 1 in 10 women and is a leading cause of infertility. It also causes weight gain, mood swings, acne, hirsutism, and irregular cycles. September is PCOS Awareness Month!
You are not required to be diagnosed with PCOS to participate. Whether you suspect you might have PCOS, are a family member who is affected, are a PCOS advocate, or just interested in learning....all are welcome!
