Get ready to chase pumpkins and make unforgettable memories at the 2nd Annual Mableton Pumpkin Chase 5K, kids' fun run & Pet Walk—a festive, family-friendly Halloween celebration hosted by It Starts With Me 2!

🎽 Packet Pickup:
Pick up your race number early and avoid the crowd. Packet pickup will be Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Big Peach Running Co. - Vinings from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Then stick around for our shake-out run on the Silver Comet Trail.

Happy Paws Pet Walk
🐾 Happy Paws Pet Walk Information
The Happy Paws Pet Walk is a fun, family-friendly 1-mile untimed walk designed for participants and their four-legged friends. Whether you're walking, strolling, or simply enjoying the festivities, we invite you to join us for a morning of fitness, fun, and community!
Registration Includes:
👕 Official Mableton Pumpkin Chase Event Shirt
🏅 Official Finisher Medal
🐶 Entry into the Pet Costume Contest
🎃 Access to the Wellness Village, entertainment, vendors, and all post-race festivities
Please Note: The Pet Walk is not professionally timed and is not a competitive event.
🐕 Pet Walk Rules
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, please follow these guidelines:
- All dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.
- One dog per registered participant. Each dog must have a dedicated handler.
- Only friendly, well-socialized dogs that are comfortable around people, children, and other dogs should participate.
- Participants are responsible for maintaining control of their dog throughout the event.
- Please clean up after your pet. Waste bags and disposal stations will be available throughout the event.
- Dogs displaying aggressive behavior toward people or other animals may be asked to leave the event without a refund. (This will be your only warning!)
- Puppies should be current on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adult dogs should be up to date on recommended vaccinations.
- Female dogs in heat should not participate.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring their dog is physically able to participate.
💧 Pet Safety Tips
Your pet's safety is our priority!
- Bring water for both you and your dog.
- Watch for signs of overheating, including excessive panting, lethargy, or difficulty walking.
- If your dog appears tired or stressed, please stop and allow them to rest.
- Please do not force your pet to complete the course.
- Be respectful of other participants by giving dogs adequate space when needed.
🎃 Pet Costume Contest
Dress your furry friend in their favorite Halloween costume and join the fun!
Prizes will be awarded for creativity, originality, and crowd appeal. Costumes should be safe, comfortable, and should not interfere with your pet's ability to see, breathe, or walk comfortably.

By participating in the Happy Paws Pet Walk, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your pet's behavior, care, and well-being during the event. Participation is at your own risk. Event organizers reserve the right to remove any participant or pet whose behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.
