Description
New for 2026: Experience the beauty of Cavalier Fields on our trail course while supporting children battling cancer.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month — a time to come together, take action, and make a difference for children and families battling cancer.
Join Joshua’s Wish for the 17th Annual Joshua’s Wish Gold Ribbon 5K Run/Walk & Gold Ribbon Honor Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Cavalier Fields, located at 4659 Cavalier Drive, Macon, GA 31220.
Whether you run, walk, cheer, or participate virtually, every step helps raise awareness and funding for childhood cancer and pediatric brain tumor research.
The 5K begins at 8:00 AM and is a professionally chip-timed event. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Following the 5K, participants of all ages are invited to take part in the Gold Ribbon Honor Walk, a non-timed 1-mile walk around the track.
This event is designed for runners, walkers, families, teams, and supporters throughout the community. Form a team, invite your friends and family, and help us make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.
