"First Baptist Church on New Street and First Baptist Church of Christ share a 200-year history that dates back to 1826. In 2026 we are celebrating our bicentennial and have planned many joint events with the hope of bettering and bringing our community together. One of those events, our "Let's Move! Macon" 5K Race, is part of the Let's Move! initiative that looks to address the problem of obesity and get children (and communities) on the path to a healthy future." The race is open to runners and walkers!

AWARDS: T-shirts are guaranteed to all participants who register by 9/10/26. Shirts to race day registrants while supplies last. In person awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female finishers; and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in each age group. Age groups are as follows:10 and under,11-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
