Event Information
Joshua’s Wish 5k Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run, held during Childhood Cancer Awareness month in September, is an annual race that raises funds to support childhood cancer research and spread awareness. Form a team! (A prize will be given to the largest team.)
Run/Walk Schedule
7:00 Check-in/ Registration
7:30 Warm Up
8:00 5K Run/Walk
9:00 Kids Fun Run (12 years & under; includes t-shirt) Children 5 and under must have an parent walking/running with them.
Awards Ceremony
5K Run/Walk: Prizes are awarded to the TOP THREE finishers in each age group
Kids Fun Run: Medals for ALL and Macon Swirls Ice Cream
Team: Plaque for the Largest Team.
The 5K is chip timed; the fun run is not. The fun run will be on the clock, but not recorded; finishers can read their time from the clock as they cross the finish line. Children 5 and under must have an parent walking/running with them.
