Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K

The 8th Annual Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K is one of our largest fundraisers for Atlanta Lab Rescue. ALR's mission is to rescue Labrador Retrievers and Large Breed Mixes from overwhelmed shelters and abusive situations and place them in secure, loving homes. We average 30-40 dogs in the program at any given time and in our first 12 years, we have rescued over 5000 dogs. Our website is www.atlantalabrescue.com. The Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K (approximately 3.15 miles) begins and ends at Still Family Farm in Powder Springs, GA. This will be a dog friendly flat trail race.   The event is being held on Saturday, November 12th, 2022. The 5K timed start will have timing provided by Elite Race Timing at www.eliteracetiming.com. After the race is completed stick around for a fall festival with activities for dogs, kids and participants. 

Registration fee includes a long sleeve t-shirt and each participant in the timed start will receive a race bib with a timing chip. 

Early packet pickup will be available Friday 11/11 from 4-7pm at Big Peach Running Co. in Kennesaw. Stop in and pick up your shirt and bib, and save time race morning! Big Peach will also have exclusive sales for our participants, so stock up and save! Pickup will also be available race morning beginning at 8am.
