Fleet Feet Peachtree City 3rd Annual Beer Mile

Online registration will close at 8pm on Thursday 1/19/2023. Race day registration will be available on site beginning at 5pm.

Join us for our 3rd Annual Beer Mile at Line Creek Brewing Company! We are so excited to take on this event in 2023 the right way, that's right the first beer will be consumed before you start the run portion and then after the remaining loops. If you are unsure what a beer mile is let us take a moment to explain. A mile is 4 X 400-meter laps around a track or 1600m total. To give you a visual we will be simulating a mile by doing 400 meter out and back loops four times on the property at Line Creek! After each loop there will be a nice cold 12 oz Maverick beer waiting for you. Based on signup volume we plan to create 3 signup waves. It is our hope this will also allow us to create a safe environment for all. We will send our correspondence prior about waves. But here's a wee bit more info:

The first wave is meant to be the fast-meaning folks that plan to go all out! 2nd Wave is meant to be for folks that want to run pretty fast but might be a rookie and don't want to get ran over! 3rd wave is for our beginners and walkers. Possibly those that are truly coming for the beer and don't really care about time.

NEW This year is a 2-Person Relay. This option is for those who want to have a little fun in a relay format alternating each lap with consumption of 2 beers instead of 4, but still get all the percs of signing up! Please be sure to fill out info form here.

Why should you sign up? 

If you have never been to Line Creek Brewing Company, their beer is really awesome, and they have been awesome partners the past two years. Check out the brewery here. But let's get down to what you really want to know. If you got this far you likely are interested in running and/or walking and drinking beer. The idea is to drink the beer at the beginning and after each loop as fast as possible, so you finish timely, but it doesn't have to be a race if you don't want it to be. We are hoping to make this a chip-timed event this year, but no matter what the following rules will apply:

*The first beer will be consumed in the "Transition zone" before the first lap!

*Vomiters will have to complete one penalty lap at the end of the race and prove all beer is drank to be official! If having it timed does not pan out we will have a stopwatch and an unofficial timing system using our Strava page like last year. Don't worry we will review all of this with you via email prior.

What do you get with your entry?

Your entry fee includes 4 12oz pours of Maverick beer during your run or walk. Participants will then enter the brewery to get a beer of choice. Your beer will be served in a souvenir cup and be sure to stick around for awards! Each participant's registration does include an ASICS sponsored Beer Coozie!

6:45 PM- Warmup with Burn Bootcamp Peachtree City!

7:00 PM-Start of Beer Mile & 2 person-relay

7:45 PM- Awards

Top 3 Overall Awards Male and Female (of all waves!)

Relay Awards TBD based on volume of signup!

Please be advised you must be 21 to enter this race. A wrist band will be given at check in to verify age. We recommend ride sharing to the event if possible. If you have any Covid symptoms, we kindly ask you to not attend.
