Run for Rwanda 5k & 10K

Support our team's mission trip to Rwanda by participating in Run for Rwanda, a 5k, 10k, and kid's run!

This summer, our team of fourteen high school students and five adults will travel to the country of Rwanda on a mission trip where we will work with our local partners in various schools and churches. In order to be a part of this amazing experience, each member of our team must raise $3,500. Through Run for Rwanda, we hope to raise some of the funds we need to send our team to Rwanda.

Our run includes:
- T-shirts (included in cost of registration for 5k and 10k through March 9th)
- Childcare (flat fee of $5)
- Complimentary waters and bananas at the finish line
- Prizes for the first and second finishers in both the male and female categories
- Electronic timing
- A finisher medal for every runner

Race Schedule:
3/9- Cutoff for t-shirt orders
3/29- Online registration closes
3/29- Bib and T-shirt pickup at Game Changers (if you do not get it then, we will have them the morning of the race)
3/30- RACE DAY
8:00 am- Check-in
8:30 am- Kid's run starts
9:00 am- 5k and 10k starts

FAQ's

Q: Is there a cancellation fee?
A: Yes, there is a $12 cancellation fee.

Q: Where will my child be during childcare?
A: Members from our team will be taking care of kids in the playground area.

Q: How will my participation in the race support the trip to Rwanda?
A: All proceeds from the race will be split evenly between all members of our team and go directly to the mission trip funds.

Q: Are walkers and strollers allowed?

A: Allowed and welcomed!!!
