Saturday, August 30th

8:00am   5K                  Morning Race

7:30PM   CA$H Mile*  Evening Race (*must qualify from the morning 5K--see details below)

*Top 10 overall Males & Top 10 overall Females from the morning's 5K are invited back to run in a competitive, all-out 1 Mile race for  CA$H immediately after the Rome Emperors game.

          Male Winner of the Mile wins $100...and some donuts.

          Female Winner of the Mile wins $100...and some donuts.
 

Run on the baseball diamond, get a donut....does a race get much better?!  Come out and join us for this unique race that ultimately supports Christmas with a Cop foundation.  Kids get to shop with a law enforcement officer during Christmas and build something special...a toy maybe and more importantly, a relationship!  Your participation in this race helps make that happen!!

For the competitive types, check out this part:  we're using the results from the morning's 5K to invite the top 10 (M&F) to a competitive 1 MILE for $100 CA$H.  (You remember what that is?)  Best part...you run in front of the baseball crowd cheering you on immediately after the game!!

The 5K will be chip-timed by www.wire2wirerunning.com

6:30am     Race Day Registration/Packet Pick-up Opens
7:45am     Race Day Registration Closes
8:00am     5K Start

   Evening...pm                   

7:00PM     Emperors vs. Winston Salem game
9:45PM     CA$H MILE* approximate start (NOTE: The actual start will be immediately after the 3rd out of the Emperor's game.)
9:45PM     Award Ceremony for the Mile

5K COURSE:  (Morning...am)

Every finisher gets a donut at the end of the race...do you really care what the course is?!! 

Seriously though, the 5K starts in the parking lot of the AdventHealth Stadium and makes its way to the ECO Trail along the Oostanaula River before returning to the stadium.  This route is not only beautiful but fast as well.

CA$H MILE COURSE:   (Evening...pm)

For the top 10 (M&F) who qualify, the CA$H Mile will start on the baseball field of AdventHealth Stadium, does a loop around the field before heading out of the stadium, then makes a loop outside the stadium before returning to the stadium to a cheering crowd where you finish on the field. Winner take all!  (The cash, that is.)

       We have three (3) different packages for the 5K: Basic, Premium, and V.I.P.  See Below. 

                    REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:00PM, Monday, August 25, 2025.

$30 - BASIC RACE REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

• One (1) entry to the 5K  (Race t-shirt, donut, fun)

$50 - PREMIUM PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• One (1) entry to the 5K  (Race t-shirt, donut, fun)
• One (1) ticket [General Admission] to the Rome Emperors Game Sat. night vs. Winston Salem.
• Donation to the 'Christmas with a Cop' program

$75 - V. I. P.  PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• One (1) entry to the 5K (Race t-shirt, donut, tons o' fun)
• Two (2) tickets [Club Level seating] to the Rome Emperors Game Sat. night vs. Winston Salem.
• One (1) meal at the stadium - provided by Chick-Fil-A
• Larger donation to the 'Christmas with a Cop' program

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP:

Participants may pick up race packets and bibs on Friday, August 29th, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm at GoGo Running, 1018 Martha Berry Blvd NE, Rome, GA 30165.

5K AWARDS:

1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall (Male and Female)

1st Place Masters (Male & Female)

1st, 2nd, & 3rd in each of the following Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & older.

PARKING: 

We have plenty of parking available at AdventHealth Stadium...HOME OF THE EMPERORS!!
