Wolf Nation 5K & Wolf Cub 1 Mile Run/Walk

Join us now on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, as Rome H.S. hosts the 8th Annual Wolf Nation 5K & Wolf Cub 1 Mi. Run/Walk. The race has consistently drawn over 200 runners & walkers each year.

• 9:00am 5K 

• 9:45am 1 Mile 

• 10:15am Awards Ceremony  

Proceeds and Donations from this annual race will benefit Rome's Cross Country/Track & Field teams and will help to build our running programs.

This USATF-Certified 5K Course (GA25003WC) is relatively-flat, is quite fast, and will once again be professionally-timed using RFID electronic chip technology by Wire2Wire Running.

EARLY Entry Fees

5K          $30*      (Due to the rescheduling of the race, we are honoring these prices until Valentine's Day, Sat., Feb. 14th, 11:59pm)

LATE Entry Fees

5K          $40*      (Note: Late Fee applies beginning Feb. 15th--through the week of the race--and on race morning itself)

PRE-REGISTRATION

On-line Pre-Registration will remain open through the week of the race, but pay attn. to the Race Fees (Early and Late). 

Paper Registration: Manual/Paper Registration is due at the RHS main office by Friday, February 13th, 2026 at 3:30 pm. All team participants are asked to submit waivers and payments to the front office, or you may register here online.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

You may register at Rome High School on Saturday morning, beginning at 7:30am. Race Day registration closes at 8:45am.

AWARDS

5K Overall: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) Overall M&F finishers, as well as the Top Master M&F.

5K Age Groups: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) male/female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10&Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & Over. There will also be an award for the “Youngest Cub” as well as the “Alpha Wolf” (most experienced runner).

Wolf Cub 1 Mile Run/Walk: Awards will be given on race day to the Top 3 finishers (male & female) for ages 3-8, 9-12, and 13-17. The Wolf Club 1 Mile Run/Walk is open to all ages; however, awards will be geared to the younger participants.
