Organization Background: Releashed Rescue was founded in 2013. Releashed Rescue has saved over 1,000 dogs since its inception and continues the great work of saving dogs today. Releashed Rescue is a licensed 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing huskies and other working dogs from high-kill shelters, rehabilitating those that need training, and rehoming them into permanent loving homes.
Releashed Rescue will provide food, shelter, basic necessities, medical treatment including shots and spay or neuter, and work to train any animal going through our program. Our goal is to find the right family to love and care for the animals for their lifetime.
Organization Vision: Releashed Rescue has a vision of a world where animals are not killed because they are inconvenient. Instead, we hope to educate the public about pet overpopulation, spaying, neutering, humane treatment of animals, and how animals can enrich the lives of people including the elderly, children, and those with disabilities.

How to Help Setup a Fundraiser when you Sign up!
Husky Highlights #1 - Call to Action for why Fundraiser is needed
Please consider donating to our virtual dog walk fundraiser to help Vader, Veda, Viking and our other medical needs dogs. We have had several very expensive medical cases that have depleted our funds recently, like poor Viking and Vader. Viking and Dutch are heartworm positive and require treatment before adoption. Every $1 helps us reach our goal! We have had a lot of amazing pups come in recently from our local shelters and we are so thankful we saved them! We cannot continue to save more lives without your support. We need donations now more than ever! If you cannot donate, then please share!
It’s me, Vader! I was pulled from Fulton County animal shelter because I was in rough shape. Vader was hit by a car and needed to have his leg amputated. He had surgery in November. Now his healing journey is complete but we need donations to cover his expenses as well as Veda and Viking. Vader is now able to run and chase once again! Taking on dogs with extra medical needs can really drain a small rescue like ours. But we are committed to helping as many dogs as possible. Thank you for helping us complete our mission.
