River and Woods 5k (Draft)

In this 5 k runners will follow a flat gravel paved path that meanders through open feilds, historical landmarks, small creeks for the first half of the race.   Runners then follow the maintianed gravel path into the woods, where shade is plentiful as well beautiful views of the Chattahooche river. This loop is repeated then runners finish in an open feild where music and refreshments await them. This flat, fun and scenic course. All proceeds of this race will go to support The Mederi Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with cancer.  For more information please visit  mederifoundation.org.
