Stop the Hazing..Fly High Max 5K

Event proceeds go to the Max Gruver Foundation which is fighting to raise awareness and educate young people to understand the importance of looking out for each other, stepping up when a situation appears to be getting out of control, and to bring an end to hazing.

Registrations are guaranteed a race shirt in your size by 2/27/22.  After that, shirts are while supplies last.

We encourage you to come out to early packet pickup to save time race morning & catch some extra sleep.

Race Morning:

Check-in will open at 7:00 AM  We ask that you come closer to 7 AM as Race will start promptly at 8:00 AM.

Step 1

Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you!  Sign up and register for the Stop the Hazing...Fly High Max Virtual 5K!

Step 2

Download your race bib, not required.  Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!

Step 3

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.   Please remember to social distance & be safe!

Step 4

HAVE FUN!~

Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the hashtag #Stopthehazing5k #flyhighmax5k

Step 5

Submit your results online directly onto RunSignUp from the Event Page or your Profile Page.

You can submit your race time anytime from 2/27/21 through end of race day 3/5/21.

Step 6

View your Virtual Results Monday after the Event Date.

Awesome FLAT & FAST Course...100% on Blessed Trinity High School Campus, so it's also perfect for the entire family.

We'll be timing the Start & Finish, so you're guaranteed to have a great race time.

All participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration on course (i.e. water bottle, handheld, vest, etc.)  To limit contact there will be no water station.  Water will be provided at the finish.

We'll have awards as follows:

• Top 3 Overall M/F
• Top 3 Overall masters M/F
• Overall Grand Master (50 yrs +)
• Overall Sr. Grand Master (60 yrs +)
• Top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups 10 & Under through 75+. 

Awesome race shirts guaranteed in your size until 2/23.  Registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last.

• All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2022 Five Star Turkey Trots. See event website for details.

   

• Top finishers will also qualify for entry into the Five Star 5K/10K Championships to be held January 7, 2023.  See event website for details.

• Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
  conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

   

• All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

   

• Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.

   

• Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

   

• No COVID-19 Refunds.  If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided.  The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
