The Jewish Educational Alliance's first annual Oy Vey 5K Run/Walk is Sunday, Dec. 9, 3 p.m., on the last night of Chanukah. Oy Vey 5K is open to individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you are two years old and being pushed in a stroller or ninety-two years old and being pushed in a wheelchair, everyone is welcome and empowered to complete the 3.1 miles! The course starts in the JEA parking lot, meanders through local, quiet neighborhoods, circles Hull Park and ends back at the JEA for the Post-Dash Chanukah Bash. Once participants of the run/walk finish they will join our community Chanukah party, the Post-Dash Chanukah Bash! Whether you participate in the 5K or not, you're still welcome to celebrate with us. There will be food, drink, vendors and games. What better way to congratulate yourself for finishing a 5K than with a beer and fried latkes?
If registering after Dec. 1, shirts sizes are not guaranteed.
