March of Dimes Shamrock Run

Kick off the St. Patrick's Day festivities in Savannah by joining us for the 29th annual March of Dimes Shamrock Run 5K! The Shamrock Run is fun for all ages and includes a Kids Run prior to the start of the 5K. Costumes are encouraged and four-legged (canine) friends are always welcome! Music, entertainment, and gift cards -prize costume contest, and adult beverages round out the festivities.

Packet pick-up will occur Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 10:00am-6:00pm at Fleet Feet Savannah and on Friday, March 1 from 4:00pm-6:00pm in Ellis Square. Online registration is available until 30 minutes before the race on March 1st through this website or the RaceDay CheckIn app. In-person registration will be available during both packet pick-up sessions.

Starting at 4:00pm, festivities for the Shamrock Run will begin! Join us for festivities including live performances, and kids activities!

Join us before, during, and after the Shamrock Run for an after party at Ellis Square.

Medals awarded to the top overall male and female winners, top overall master male and female winners (age 40+), and age category medals will be given to the top three male and three female finishers in the following age categories: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.

Proceeds from the Shamrock Run benefit the mission of March of Dimes to improve the health of babies and moms. March of Dimes carries out its mission through programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy.
