EVENT DETAILS
Effingham Health System has partnered with three local charities and non-profits to bring you the Fall 5K Series again this year! We will host three races, each with different themes, costumes and healthy living focus. All races will start and end at Ulmer Ball Park in Springfield. Each competitor will receive one race medal, and a charm for each race completed. Registration will be online, or on-site, starting 1 hour before each race. Dogs are encouraged at each race and will receive their own race charms for crossing the finish line! The Effingham Health System will have information booths with a different focus at each race. Trophies for best dressed, first finisher, top dog finisher, and overall series champion will be awarded. The November race will be a night time run, so don’t forget to make those costumes Glow! Get your teams and costumes together and come have fun to get healthy!
The start and finish for each race will be at Ulmer Ball Park in Springfield, GA, but each race will have a different course. The October race will be a lap run, consisting of three laps of the one mile course. This course will be lighted, but watch out! There may be monsters hiding the shadows!

Strides for Strength
November 16th, 2019 - Rescheduled for 1/25/2020
Regitration: 4:30pm - 5:15pm
Race Start: 5:30pm
Costume Contest: Best and Brightest Hat
Health Focus: Cancer Awareness
All participants get the Ribbon Charm for their series medal
*The will be a 3 lap race on the one mile course.
We will use the race to collect knit hats for those undergoing cancer treatments.

We will use this race to take donations for the Effingham County Animal Shelter
