Glow with the Flow 5K

The party starts when the sun goes down…Flood is putting on their annual 5K and we'll be having a GLOWTASTIC time!

The 5K starts at 7:30 pm, and the course is super flat, and super fast. We'll have awesome long sleeve race shirts, and a shot at age group awards for everyone. This is an amazing family event, so make plans to bring your entire family.

Event Beneficiary:   Proceeds from the race go to Flood Student Missions and their vision of developing Servant Leaders among middle and high school students. Flood is a student led ministry where student leaders engage over 1,000 students from over 20 different schools each year to serve in their communities. All monies raised goes to support the ministry and all the local mission work students do each week in their schools and communities.

Course & Timing:  All participants will be chip timed for the start & finish, so we can get everyone a great accurate time, which is sure to be a PR (if that's what you're hunting for).  The course is amazing!  Super Flat!

Awards & Shirts:   Great Custom Award Medals as follows:  Overall male & female winners, Overall Master's male & female winners, Overall Grand Master's male & female, Overall Sr. Master's male & female, Top 3 in each 5 year age group starting at 10 & under and going through 75+.    All participants registered by 2/25 are guaranteed a long sleeve shirt in their size. Anyone registering after 2/25 will receive a shirt on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.

Goodies:   We'll be ordering glow in the dark items for everyone, but feel free to bring some of your own.

Doggie Friendly:   Got a pooch?  Bring em along.  The event & course are dog friendly...so as long as they're friendly, and on a leash...you're good to go.

Finish Line Festival:   Imagine a ton of motivated students waiting for you to get back from your race, add in a DJ and some great music, and that's the picture for the finish line.  We'll have plenty of everything!

Five Star 5K Championships & Turkey Trot:   All participants will qualify for a free entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot (held on Thanksgiving).  Top 5K finishers will also qualify for the 5K championship.
