Description
D-Day is the perfect time to honor the soldiers who trained at Camp Toccoa and all veterans who served and jumped into Normandy on June 6, 1944. The 10K Run and Memorial Walk will take you in the footsteps of the 18,000 who trained on Currahee Mountain during WWII.
All proceeds from the events will be used for the Camp Toccoa at Currahee Project to preserve the Legacy of Leadership exemplified by the men who trained there. Thank you for supporting the event and celebrating the Greatest Generation!
Registration Fees
Event: DDay 10K Run
Registrations must be received by May 13, 2024 to receive a t-shirt.
Start Time: 8:00am EDT. Finish Line closes 10:30am EDT.
Price: $35.00 Race Fee + $3.73 SignUp Fee
Registration: Price increases to $40.00 after May 13, 2024 at 11:59pm EDT
Event: DDay Memorial Walk
The DDay Memorial Walk is an untimed participation only event.
You may walk any distance up the mountain, turn around and return to the finish line area. Registrations must be received by May 13, 2024 to receive a t-shirt.
Start Time: 8:00am EDT. Finish Line closes 10:30am EDT.

Course
The race begins at the entrance to Camp Toccoa, runs down to the Patterson Pump facility turns around and enters the Camp Toccoa property to run up the mountain to the fence turns around and finishes in the barracks area. Course is strenuous and run on dirt roads. Finish line will remain open until 10:30am.
The Memorial Walk participants may walk or run any part of the course. The Memorial Walk is not a timed event.
Awards
10K Awards given to Overall Male/Female, Overall Masters Male/Female and the top three (3) finishers in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & older.

We get wet! This is a rain or shine event. Sorry, no refunds due to weather.
