Crossroads Baptist School 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us in March for the Crusader 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run!  This fun event will be held at Crossroads Baptist School on Saturday, March 23.  The 5K (3.1 miles) will start at 7:30 AM and will wind through the tree lined streets of the neighborhoods next to the school.  Participants in the 5K event should be able to finish in less than one hour.  Finishers in the 5K should also plan to stay after the race for the 5K awards.  The top Male & Female runners will receive awards as well as the top Male and Female in the Masters division (40 and above).  After the top finishers are recognized, we will give out awards in 10-year age groups. 

After the 5K race, we will have the Crusader 1 Mile Fun Run!  This race is approximately 1/2 mile out and then back to Crossroads Baptist Church parking lot. Finishers will receive a finisher ribbon.  

Register BEFORE March to get a discounted race fee, a Crusader t-shirt, and a goody bag!  Register by March 8 to be guaranteed a shirt on race day.  Those who register after March 8 are not guaranteed a shirt on race day.  Note:  We will not offer race day registration this year for the 5K OR the 1 Mile. 

We are also offering a Virtual race option for those who just want a shirt and/or want to participate in the race but live too far from the Valdosta area to be here in person!  Please note, participants in the virtual race will not be included in the local results.  Virtual participants will have the option of picking up a shirt from the school or having it sent to them via USPS.
