Wild Mason Racing 5K

S L Mason Elementary School is working together with the PTO to build a new playground.  Our current play ground equipment is over 20 years old.  S L Mason joined with West Gordon to become one school teaching Pre K to 5th grade and we now have over 900 students at this school.  However, our play ground equipment was brought over from the old school playground and all the wood playground equipment had to be taken down for safety reasons.   Which leaves 900 students and only one play set.  To make it where all the kids can play during their free time we need an additional playground structure.  The race will start at the school and run through the neighborhood and will end back at the school, located at 821 West Gordon St.  The 4th & 5th grade students are drawing their dream playground and the winner's drawing will go on the t-shirt that each participant will receive.  The race is on November 17th and sign-ups will start at 7:00 am with the 5K starting at 8:00 am, along with a fun run at 9:00 am.  Awards will be given out after the fun run.  There will also be a early pick-up at the school on Friday, November 16th from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm.  For additional information please email slmasonpto@yahoo.com.  Hope to see you there.
