YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Help Us Bridge the Academic Gap - Keep Students On Track for Academic Success
Sandy Springs Education Force has been at the forefront of supporting the educational successes of financially vulnerable students in Sandy Springs for over a decade. With support from sponsors, we launched a brand new virtual tutoring program to help elementary school students stay on track with their academics during the pandemic emergency. We also expanded our successful Summer Book Club to ensure students did not lose their reading gains over the summer break. Many students still face vast educational gaps, especially children whose families have limited financial means. To help bridge this gap, we continue to expand our programs to provide targeted learning support and outreach programs that will make a difference for these public school students.
Race Course - 5K & 10K
The 10K loops the 5K race course twice. The course begins and ends at 6100 Lake Forrest Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
Parking Options
There are four areas available to park.
We suggest coming from Lake Forrest since Mt. Vernon will begin to be shut down at Lake Forrest Drive as the race start approaches. A small section of Lake Forrest will be shut down between the 6100 Century East Building Entrance and Mt. Vernon.
(1) Main Parking: Century Springs West business parking lot at 6100 Lake Forrest Dr. (Watch for marked spots for building customers. Please do not park in customer spots.)
(2) Along Mt. Vernon Rd. there are limited spaces across from Sandy Springs United Methodist Church available with a short walk down to the Start/Finish line at Lake Forrest.
(3) Street and surface lot parking is available surrounding City Springs. Expect a longer walk to the Start/Finish line at Lake Forrest.
(4) City Springs Deck East or West. Parking is free for up to 2 hours. This is a great spot to park if you wish to head back to City Springs for the Farmers Market. Expect a longer walk to the Start/Finish line at Lake Forrest.
*All other areas are not designated for parking and you park at your own risk.
*There will be specific spots at the Century Wast lot reserved and marked for the building's customers.
*Feel free to review the PDF below for a map of the area and parking locations.
